A range of rugged sealed sources ideal for use in school laboratories. These sources are mounted on an Aluminium block and are supplied complete with storage block. Caesium 137 replaces the traditional Cobalt 60 source as the recommended gamma source. Caesium 137 has a half life of 30 years as opposed to the 5 years for Cobalt 60 and is therefore a better long term investment.
Delivery will take 5 - 7 weeks on these sources and a separate delivery charge will be applied. Currently this is £165 for the first source, then £40 for each additional source for schools on the UK mainland but may change. For Islands, Highlands and Northern Ireland delivery please contact our customer services for a quotation.
